The 27-year-old has appeared in 131 NHL games with the Anaheim Ducks, Calgary Flames and Tampa Bay Lightning. He was a member of the Leafs AHL-affiliate Toronto Marlies in 2010. Maple Leafs training camp opens on September 18 and the team could be without defenceman Stephane Robidas to start it.
