According to ESPN, the Rams gave Brett Favre a call to find out if he was willing to come out of retirement. Favre, now 44 years old, last played during the 2010 season with Minnesota. He has come out of retirement in the past. After calling it quits following the 2007 season in Green Bay, Favre decided he wanted to return and eventually landed with the New York Jets for the 2008 campaign.
