I have just tried to replace my valves with a new set however i noticed that two of the Marshall EL34s had a blue sticker and two had a yellow sticker on them. I replaced the old ones in my amp and when i switched it on i got a loud hum and one of the tubes glowed up really bright like a light bulb! I knew something wasn't right so I removed and refitted the valves making sure that the numbers on the pins corresponded with the holes in the amp... same thing happened!I've managed to fit the two yellow stickered ones with two old ones but it will not have the blue ones. They keep glowing hotter like they are about to blow.On Marshalls website it says that the valves should be all of the same make... which they are.... and that the amp needs to be biased.??????What is biased... Why does Marshall only have engineers in Milton Keynes????Any ideas what is going wrong here?

I just got a new HT5-R to use as a practice amp and it worked great for about a week. I came home last night and plugged in, but couldn't get any sound. I've done all the troubleshooting steps I can think up, but still nothing. Here are the facts: - The amp lights up completely - The emulated output still works - If I hook the speaker into the emulated output, I can get sound out of it, so I know the speaker connection is good - Both tubes appear to be glowing
Any thoughts on the problem? Could a tube be bad even though it's glowing? I was very happy with this amp, so I'm hoping this is a fluke and not a statement of its quality.

I wonder if I can get some help with three questions on Leith Athletic? 1. As far as I can see Leith Athletic only played in one season of war-time football and that was in the 1941/42 season in the North East Football League. I also understand that a major reason for not being able to compete during the War was the requisitioning of their Meadowbank ground by the Army. Is that correct and, if so, how did they manage to play in 1941/42? 2. John (“Jack”) Thomson Love DFC played for the club in that 1941/42 season and according to John Litster’s disk made 2 appearances (0 goals). I am interested to find details of his debut game. 3. Jack Love returned to play for the club after the War. John Litster’s disk shows him signing for the club on 24 August 1946 but there are no appearances details for the 1946/47 season in the C Division. Did he play any games in that season?

As you may know from my prior posts I've enjoyed many decades of BMW ownership, 8 cars and 3 motorcycles, and have generally been pleased with my vehicles and support. However, since leasing an i3 BEV I've been disappointed with range, especially in cold weather which is often below 50 miles, severely limiting the utility of the car for my daily driving needs. I've discussed my concerns with the Leith BMW dealership team where I leased my i3 including my salesperson, service rep and senior management within the dealership. When I was dealing with BMW directly the response to my concerns was sluggish and non committal in finding a solution. To my great relief the Leith team stepped in aggressively and worked tirelessly to resolve the problems I faced.Without getting into extreme detail I can happily state that the Leith team, working in conjunction with BMW, found the answers to my concerns and has resolved the problems.
These wandering hordes are something i didn't like at first, having then daily? was a massive NO! from me. So i waited until i played enough of the experimental to see what my final thoughts were, i have played a good bit now (around 40-50 hours)
Wandering Zombie Hordes - i now do not mind having these, appearing daily and at random, as long as they spawn at day time, you have enough time to react according, even if they sneak up on you without a sound!
Wandering Dog Hordes - only seen these once! i was building away, working on my current base, my character got hungry, so i had to decide to keep working away or go and eat now, so i decided to eat and start crafting more stuff in my work bench, now my base is fully open ATM while i am working on it, so soon as i step into my forge area BAM! around 10 dogs where running right for where i was standing, i only heard there growls AS they got to the area i was! this got me thinking. is the sound an issue? a bug? or are these hordes suppose to be silent? because if i did not decide to move at that moment, i would of died.
200 quid for an analog drum machine with bass synth: this should have been huge. But it seems to have come and gone...A few bad user reviews online, and no SOS review. Has anyone here used one? Any good - or rubbish?

Hello,
It was evening and Siriel had not forgotten Miariel's promise to talk to her. She sat impatiently on the bed and sometimes by the window. The book she had borrowed from the library lay unnoticed on the bedside table - she had no peace anyway, and certainly no novel.
Drop initiative and gain Perception check as your initiative roll... For a level 11 character...
5 (1/2 level) 5 (perception training) 5 (wis mod) 2 (racial) 2 (background) 2 (theme... I think iron wolf theme?) 2 (feat bonus) 1 (item bonus)
= +24 to initative.
This is without trying much... What's the highest Perception Check a level 11 wood elf can get? Is there a paragon path or something weird I'm missing?

Well what a rapturous reception our lads will get tonight, as we quickly get back in action for the TOP SIX clash at home to Wolves. And somehow with CW in charge, you just don't expect anything but another top draw performance of effort and/or quality. Sure not all results will go our way this season, and this is as tough a test as we have faced at home this season, but yet there doesn't seem any reason to fear anybody. So bring on what should be a cracking game, great crowd and Wolves having the chance to go top, while we 'could' go second!!!!
So I'm lucky enough in my current world to have surface lava right near my base, with a nearby lake well above the level of the lava. As such, I'm considering using a lava blade as the killing point of my mobtrap.I've never built such a trap before, and I was wondering if it has any major shortcomings I should be aware of? Obviously it won't work on endermen, but properly built it should catch spiders just fine, correct? Is there any compelling reason to use a wall of saws instead?

I have a sword that has been re-hilted in Czarist Russia (hilt-maker Skosiryev), but the blade is clearly older and I think not Russian. The blade is evidently made of forge-folded steel, and has a Passau Running Wolf engraved on both sides of the blade. Each wolf has 4 star and the letters MH on either side of it. Does anyone know anything about the likely provenance of this blade?
